Family Groups - The Events Fields

The 7-acre Event field is adjacent to the main campsite. Showers and toilets and a shop are available on the main campsite. This field is available for hire, by area or as a whole for events, family groups, scout camps, large group camps etc.  The field is divided up into 4 areas each accommodating 10 to 20 pitches (dependant on the size of tent). Bookings for the Event Field are in blocks of 7 days from midday on Friday to midday the following Friday with the exception of the Spring Bank and August Bank holiday weekends which are not available. You do not have to stay the whole week.
Pitch fees are the same as the main campsite but are subject to a minimum fee per area (based on 10 average families staying 2 nights). If some of your party do not attend we will still require payment of the minimum fee which is

BOOKING

A £50.00  non refundable deposit is payable on booking to secure your booking plus a £5 booking fee which is non-refundable. The balance can be paid in advance of your stay or on arrival but will be subject to the appropriate minimum fee. FACILITIES

The Event field contains drinking water points but all other facilities are located in the Main Campsite. Facilities include, toilets, free showers and wash up sinks, a shop, launderette, baby change, play area, hire service (fire pits/picnic benches/freeze blocks), refuse collection area and a seas temporary loos may be hired at £60.00 each but must be pre-arranged and paid for in advance. If you wish to have them serviced during your stay there will be an additional cost of £20.00 per service. We will provide a complimentary fire pit on request for each area.

RULES

The same common sense terms and conditions apply to the Events Field as per the Main Campsite
Pitching distances – Please do your best to apply the 6 metre rule as illustrated at Burnbake Reception thus safeguarding your neighbour’s privacy and providing a natural fire break in case of emergency.
Fires – NO GROUND FIRES AT ALL under any circumstances. We do allow wood fires but only in a container off the ground. (This may be revoked in exceptional weather/grounds conditions) We also hire fire pits on site (subject to availability)
Dogs – are very welcome and free of charge here! All we ask is that they be kept on a lead for the comfort of other guests and that you clear up any deposits.
Noise and disturbance – Please respect your neighbour’s quiet enjoyment. No noise after 10.30pm.  Loud music, foul language or other behaviours likely to cause offence to family campers. Remember noise travels particularly well at night. We appreciate that with a larger group the “volume control” has a tendency to rise!  Please be conscious of this and act responsibly. Staff do live on site and will come and ask you to quieten down if necessary but we would really prefer that neither of us be put in that position! Amplified music is not allowed. Anyone displaying behaviours deemed to be antisocial by the Burnbake team may be asked to leave without refund.
Vehicles – Please follow any directional and speed limit signage and park with consideration for accesses and camping neighbour relations!
Rope swings – Please do not erect rope swings or other play structures in and around the site. They can be the cause of serious accidents. Please make use of the play equipment provided by us in the designated locations and ensure that your children are adequately supervised.
There is a requirement for users of the site to report without delay any damage to property, injuries, illness or significant dangerous occurrences so that any necessary action can be taken. Any aggression or abuse directed towards our staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
