AWARD winning Burnbake Forest Lodges in Purbeck is offering dog-friendly accommodation for the first time from January.
The luxury lodges facility between Corfe Castle and Studland has opened two lodges for four legged friends. Both have a private hot tub on the terrace and a woodburner to snuggle by.
“We know that many of our guests have dogs and would love to bring them Burnbake so we decided it was time to do this,” said general manager, Chris Wyburgh. “The location of Burnbake and the beautiful countryside and coastline around us makes it perfect for dog walking and breaks with your pets.”
Research by American Express reveals that a quarter (27%) of UK dog owners expected to take their dogs on holiday during 2018, and spend £227 million on the privilege.
Chris added: “As well as widening our guest offering, being dog friendly will hopefully help to attract visitors outside of our busy peak season and also boost bookings in our short breaks market.”

Burnbake will provide canine guests with a pooch pamper box which includes a blanket, bowl and treat.
A list of local dog-friendly pubs, beaches and attractions will also be provided.
