Outstanding Natural Beauty

Burnbake is part of the Rempstone Estate on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. Not an actual island, but a headland of nature reserves, rich wildlife, green rolling hills, blue flag beaches, coves, ridges and valleys.

Within a few minutes’ drive you will fall upon the impossibly pretty village of Corfe and its mighty castle, the stunning beaches of Studland and Shell Bay, the seaside resort of Swanage and the historic Saxon town of Wareham.

The lost village of Tyneham, the amazing geology of Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and the natural wonders of the Jurassic Coast are all within easy reach.

You can venture a little further to the ‘millionaires playground’ of Sandbanks, and the vibrant conurbation of Bournemouth and Poole.

From Poole, boats bustle back and forth on sightseeing and fishing trips and across to the National Trust’s enchanting Brownsea Island.
