Safari Tents

Safari tents at Burnbake from Friday May 10th – Sunday 3rd November 2024

An unforgettable escape to nature, the Burnbake Safari Tents are unique to the UK and the newest addition to our award-winning campsite, and they do not disappoint. Reconnect with nature and explore the great outdoors from the comfort of a luxury safari tent. A ‘home from home’ that can sleep up to either 4 or 6 guests and are fully equipped with all of your home comforts and some thoughtful little luxuries to elevate your camping experience.

Available for 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7-night stays depending on your chosen check-in day (Monday, Wednesday or Friday), each tent has:

Comfy beds with mattress protectors
Bed linen is provided but guests need to bring their own towels
A relaxing sofa with blankets and cushions
A sociable dining table with chairs
A kitchen space stocked with crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment
A fridge with small compartment freezer, one electric hob, toaster, sink and stove kettle
There is only cold drinking water from the kitchen tap, no hot water available in the tents
Interior lighting and electrical plug sockets
External seating on a ‘decked’ porch
A firepit
Close access to shower pods and private portaloos

Book either our 4 or 6 guest tents, each offering a slightly different bedroom layout.

Tent 1 | ‘Agglestone Safari’ sleeps 6 (with a double bed, and 2 full sized bunk beds)
Tent 2 | ‘Heathland Safari’ sleeps 4 (with a double bed and twin beds)

All you need to bring…

Simply pack your personal items and food. Don’t forget that we have an on-site shop open 8-12 and 4-6pm* daily and a café serving breakfast and supper at varying times depending on the season.

Check in/out times

3pm arrivals and 11am check out. We welcome well behaved dogs – maximum of 2 dogs per tent – for a one-off charge of £25.00 to cover extra cleaning for four legged friends.
