Bad Cow Marathon Event April 2018
White Star Running were back once again at Burnbake campsite for a weekend of running in and around the idyllic Purbeck countryside.
The Bad Cow, a firm favourite in the Running calendar with White Star Running, saw over 750 runner’s doing a 12 hour event, marathon or half marathon. With Stacey Connolly running 100k in 12.07.44 beating Richard Palmer by 1 second. In the team event the Four’s were hotly contested with Clanfield joggers taking the glory with 19 Laps over 12.18.19.
With views across Studland and Rempstone Heath on Sunday’s races, the venue is a perfect secluded spot for spectacular events with great views and lots of wildlife. Marathon was won by Matthew Bewley in time of 3.29.08.
The brave campers turned out in wet weather conditions to enjoy the action packed weekend now their all looking forward to the next white star event in 2 weeks. If you fancy a running event that’s fun, sociable, value for money then White Star Running is for you.
